Crystal Reports Adding data from a new table without including it

   I need to display a single column detail from a seperate table( say Table 2 ) different from the table ( say Table 1 ) am using in the reports.
Without including that Table 2 how do i include the details in the report section which is using Table 1. One way i can think of is using Unlinked Sub Reports, but using sub reports is not efficient. so is there any other possible solution for this issue.
