Hi all,
can we have cascading prompts with columns from different tables.. in crystal report XI?

Yes. You have to join all the necessary tables together in a single resultset. Then the cascading prompts can pull out the necessary tables for each prompt. I wrote about how to do this in my free online chapter on parameters. It's at the end of the chapter.
