I have a comparison report which shows differences in 2 tables.  I wish the report to be e-mailed every day there are records on the report.  I have set up the schedule daily, but it still sends a blank report when there are no records.  How do I stop the scheduller from sending an e-mail when there are no records returned?

I have been passed a piece of information which may be able to help, but it needs refinement.

Although I cannot get the scheduller to stop sending a report, I can set up an alert to e-mail out if there are records on my report.

How do I set up the alert to do this though.  I cannot see any documentation about it in the manual I have.
