Am beginner with crystal reports, I would like to know.. how to add if condition formula in crystal reports?

My code is like this..
Its student attendance Report.. where in i have generated the report displaying Student Id , student Name, and ther respective attendance status... for that particular day.

But the question is here.. I need a count of present students, to do this formula is added Count (({tbl_mast_dailystudentattendance.AttStu_attStatus}),{tbl_mast_subject.Subject_Name})
which is not correct formula..
please help me with the formula..
And more on... Count(fld,condfld,fld)
