Hi,
We are currently using version 8.5.0.217 of Crystal Reports for developing payslips and other resources. End users install the resources by running a 'setup'exe' program, which is distributed through the Distribution Expert.
One of the users has recently been upgraded to a Windows 7 machine and when they try to install, it comes up with a 'system error' near the end of the installation wizard. Is there a compatibility issue with Windows and this version (or any other version) of Crystal Reports?
Did you get a reply to your issue. I am having some issue with Crystal Reports 8.5 with Windows 7 using the ActiveX Viewer from an ASP web on IIS 7.0 version. When we execute a report the viewer appears grayed out but, you can export the report okay. Did you encounter such issues as well and was it resolved?
