Calling all helpers!

I have a report with one parameter based linking to the database and 3 that are just informational to be displayed in the report (which is actually a letter).  My problem arises when I have inserted a sub-report with the same parameters and I get duplicate prompts. I have managed to correct it for the parameter that is linked to the database but the others I still have to answer twice.

Any suggestions? Sub-reports can be so frustrating!

Thanks!

How did you correct it for the database field? What was the problem there? I would delete all the parameters and add them again one at a time and test print the report after each one to see if one of them might be triggering the problem.

Hi Buddy,
I feel the issue is with 'Subreport links', if the Subreport has parameters either Database parameter or Report Parameter, they should be linked to the parameters of the parent report otherwise the subreport will prompt for values for its parameters.
The Subreport parameters and the parent report parameters should match in Datatype. The Subreport should have equal or less number of parameters compared to that of the parent report.
hope this was useful.
Thanks.
