Hi,

I want to use two queries from different tables that are not linked with each other in the same report

Eg.
1.
Date-(This value should come from table X
like, select date from X where application='y'
)
2.
then the main report will have feilds from another table
like select applicationtype,applicationdate where <some condition>.

How do i do this in crystal report 2008?
i have completed point 2 but what should i do to display point 1 as a separate feild in the report header??

Greetings Madhura_J,

I am not the most experienced person in Crystal Reports but I will try to help.  I have used only Crystal Reports Version 10 and Crystal Reports Version 11.

You could try to put into the report header a sub report.  You can link that sub report to whatever table you want and do with the sub report what you want independently of what you are doing in the main report.

You can create the sub report separately and then use the main report's wizard to insert the sub report to the report header of the main report.

I hope this information is useful to you.  If it is not useful, I apologize.  I have received help on this forum and wanted to try to help others.  I do not often get a chance to get into the forum to be honest.
