	What is the difference between the Professional and Developer versions? I've been tasked to "suggest" which version Crystal Reports would be best for the office; we will only be getting 2 or 3 copies.

	There is only one edition of Crystal 2008 - there are no separate Professional and Developer versions. -Dell

	Solution: According to my knowledge, there are no profesional and developer version for crystal reports, however we have Crystal reports designer and Crystal reports enterprise. Crystal designer should be uaed to develope the reports where as enterprise used to admin tasks such as scheduling, audit for crystal reports which are developed in CR designer. Thanks, Sudh.

	There used to be different versions of the designer - Standard, Professional, and Developer - with separate pricing. Professional was the Standard edition plus some features and Developer was Professional plus features. SAP is no longer selling Crystal Reports in this type of tiered fashion. Crystal Enterprise is a completely different product - it is part of the Crystal Reports Server/BusinessObjects Enterprise family software. It runs reports that were designed in Crystal Reports but is not required for using the reports. -Dell
