Hi,

I am hoping someone can help me here. I have google searched quite a bit and haven't come up with a solution. How do I remove the line space between two detail lines? I have tried dragging the border up/down. But it will go as far as the default, it looks like and no further. It always leaves at least a 0.5 cm space between the detail lines. It wasn't completely removed. I have tried the line spacing (Mutiple/Exact) under format field, but that has nt helped this issue. Any ideas? Thanks!

Check your group footers and make sure those are suppressed if you are not using them, otherwise, seems like whatever space is there is the standard space between lines and probably cannot be changed as far as I know.

well, just to cover the silly things,
make sure the object is at the top of the detail section.
all objects are the same size
the height of the objects is as small as possible
the bottom of the detail section is touching the objects.

the only other thought is to reduce the font as well.

if you have done all of the above, then any remaining space is placed by the system, and is beyond your control.  5mm is a pretty big gap.  I would check if something is wrapping with 'Can Grow' set or an object that is taller than the rest.  If the detail section is the height of your objects in design, the preview height should be pretty close.
