Hi
I have encountered a problem with Crystal Reports v2008 and SDE V9.80.6 and would like some help please.

I have created the report in Crystal and there are 12 parameters, 2 of which are date to and from, and these are mandatory.  The report user has the option to choose either none, 1 or multiple of the remaining parameters.

I have tested the report in Crystal and it works fine

Now we come onto the issue!

I have uploaded the report onto SDE Reports Configuration server, set the report parameters and specified the report access.

I then go into SDE select report, enter date to and from, click show report and get this error:

'ReadRecords() : (-2147191859) - A number, currency amount, boolean, date, time, date-time, or string is expected here'

But the report works fine in Crystal....

The parameters used are:

Incident.Status Description

Incident.Full Name Opened By

Incident.Completion Code

Incident.Source Description

Incident.Impact Description

Incident.CI Code

Incident.Service Name

Incident.Template Short Description

Incident.Opened Group

The BMC forum seems to think the issue might be down to the version we use, but can't understand this as we have other reports that work fine.

Any suggestions on how to resolve this would be gratefully appreciated.
