Hi

I am trying to set an image as background for my report. The image should cover the entire A4 page

So I’ve placed the image into header section and check Underlay Following Sections.

However I am not able to use Page Footer section in my report.  Once I added footer to my report the following error message appears:  “page header and footer is too large for pagina ”.

Is there any solution to use background image in the report with page footer?

Please help.

ps. I am working in the Crystal Reports XI

You would have to size the image so that the page footer has space under it.  I don't think that a page header will underlay a page footer.

I can't size the image. This is a background for the entire A4 page (invoice)
It seems very strange that a page header can underlay details section, group section but not a footer section.
 
Any other ideas?

You could try this, crop the image into 2 separate images at where you think the page header would meet the page footer.
 
Place the top half of the image into the page header as you have been doing, place the bottom half of the image into "Page Footer a" with overlay following sections and whatever you want in "Page Footer b".
