I have not used Crystal for a long long time, I would love someone to answer the following question about if something is possible to produce in Crystal.  I can easily do it in Excel, but if I move to Crystal I need to be able to reproduce it.

Down the left I have the metrics, e.g. Calls Offerered, Calls Answered

Along the top I have Monday to Sunday columns, then a weekly total, then a monthly total, then quarterly etc.

The totals then appear in the intersection of the metric and the column if that makes sense.

Sorry if I am sounding dense and asking a simple question, its just not something I ever wanted to do when using Crystal in the distant past.

I can send a visual example if anyone wants it.

There are ways to do what you want. How much you can do in the data query will depend on the data you have in the database. If it has the right structure you may easily be able to do most of  this in the data grouping.

If not possible you could create formulas to read the data and plug it into the correct spot.

Finally you may consider a cross tab report since it appears you want summary kinds of data. Brian and others on the forum are more skilled in cross tab reporting than I am. Brian has a free book on the this website that includes chapters on cross tab reports as well as formulas and other info. Here is the link:

Hope some of this will get you started.

Regards,
