I have a crystal report is having a Grouping by DocNo and list of data at Details section. I hv suspress the details section hence only show the group header.
 
I would like to sum the value of a field at Group Header:
Example of report:
 
Group DocNo 1, MaxQuantity
------------------------------------------------------
DocNo 1, MaxQuantity
DocNo 1, MaxQuantity
DocNo 1, MaxQuantity
 
 
Group DocNo 2, MaxQuantity
------------------------------------------------------
DocNo 2, MaxQuantity
DocNo 2, MaxQuantity
DocNo 2, MaxQuantity
 
I would like to have a sum which only add MaxQuantity of Group DocNo 1 and Group DocNo 2.
 
While i do the formula to sum Quantity, it will sum the quantity at details section.
 
Any idea how to only sum the value at Group Header?

Hi,
 
Go to File menu>>Insert Summary>>choose field MaxQuantity from the dropdown. Place the field in the group footer.
