Im trying to get a distinct count of lwmain.incident.

 

lwmain.incident could have multiple instances of lwchrg.chrgdesc.  When grouping by lwchrg.chrgdesc, it counts each record.  I want to get a total count

of all lwmain.incident grouping by lwchrg.desc

 

for instance 

 

fire

lwmain.incidnet

lwmain.incidnet

total number of incidents = 5, my report tells me 6

 

I want the total numbe of lwmain.incident even though the list is grouped by lwchrg.chrgdesc  I need to only count each instance of a number
