Good Evening All i am in dire need of assistance with creating a report that can show and compare the open and closed incidents by month for this quarter of the fiscal year. I am creating the report to show each month broken down by the customers the tickets were created by followed by the department the tickets fall under ie. desktop support, but cannot combine the information for open and closed by month to create a chart or dashboard for presentation. Please help!

I guess you can use sub-reports to pull open and close reports separately and compare them in main-report. Maybe I am wrong, Can you explain a bit more....

Sure, i am working with CR XI pulling data from Phaseware tracker ticketing system data base. I have to create a report that compares the open and closed tickets from the 1st qtr of the fiscal year oct-dec and create charts to reflect the multiple layers of the drill down for each month. I want to show the same information, which is a drill down of the tickets open and closed by customer name by support group or type of support provided and finally a full detailed report of each ticket and cannot show them on a single report.
