I am using Crystal Reports 2008 to create a line chart to show a summary of our sales.  I have calculated the values and can display them on a page before the chart.  These values are used to create the chart however when I preview it in CR the chart just displays with a straight horizontal line across 0.

Now the strange behaviour is when I right click on the chart and select Chart Options > Axis and change the group axis option, it changes to a straight vertial line over the 0.  When I click the Undo button, the chart then displays correctly.  I cannot get it to display correctly the first time.

We are using third party software which uses CR for its reporting and the report just displays with the horizontal line across 0.

I have no idea why the chart is doing this or where to start looking so any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
