Hi
I an almost new in crystal report. Below is a Formula that i get it from web. In this Formula, there is a variable named formula. i don't know where this variable "formula" comming from. is it a built in keyword?. please help me.

hi
in the crystal formula editor there are two options. one is the "crystal syntax" and the other one is "basic syntax". if u select the "crystal syntax" then you wont get the string "formula = ", but if u select the "basic syntax" then u get the string "formua = ".
by default the selection is "crystal syntax", please check this in your report.

I would like to add one thing to maybe clarify. This formula is written in Basic syntax and your report has Crystal syntax selected. It gives the error because the two syntaxes aren't compatible. So if you switch your language to Basic syntax, then the error should go away and everything should be fine.
