I have something that I have not been able to figure out. I have a table (Activity_Log) which contains three data elements I'm focusing on; one is the "Activity Name", the second is the "Date_Time" for each activity and the third is the "Radio_Name" or Unit if you will that corresponds to all of the activities.

I am trying to get a report that will show me how long each unit was active for between two different activity names. The activity names are "Start Shift" and "End Shift". Slightly tricky is the fact that shifts can run over the course of two days (start on Saturday and end on Sunday) and there are multiple enteries for "End Shift", usually 4-5 in the Activity_Log for each unit.

Example question. How long was 636 (Radio_Name) on duty for over the course of 1 week.

I would need to sum all of the elapsed times between "Start Shift" and "End Shift" for that specific radio name over the course of the week.

I'm really struggling on how to get crystal to do this. Does anyone have any thoughts? Unfortunately I have not found a better table in the database to provide the type of data I need to answer this question.

Thanks much!
