Hello!
I am currently designing a report for a payroll bureau. We want the report to be accurate for many different payrolls and so were wanting dynamic column headings. Is this possible?
Basically what I want Crystal to do is to show the Description for each Pay Component. The database is set up so that each Pay Component has an ID number, and a description. So I was wondering if there is a formula I can use that shows PCDescr for PCompID=1 etc. It's not really an if function because I don't want it to analyse the data, just show the Description.

What I would do is create a table that will contain all of the column headings in each record, with each client the bureau is processing for having its own record. You can then include that table in the report, linking on the client id, and use the column labels from there.
