Via crystal, can you create a report and export the data into a PDF which in turn can be fill out electronically?

In other words, they are asking for a report in PDF format that has fillable fields.

not sure about this but it seems like an odd request and the request of someone daisy chaining a process and inserting crystal into the middle of it rather than rethinking the process as a whole. What is the value gained here?
Why not use the same data source to merge into a pdf form and forgo Crystal?
