I am using Crystal v 8.5 and experiencing rounding on numeric fields populated and summarised in my report. How can I stop rounding of the data presented in the report?? I have tried formatting the field but this does not help. Is there a SQL command I need to include in a formula?

Right-click on the number field and select Format Field. Go to the Number tab and click on the Customize button.  There should be an option to set the rounding value.

If you want to change this for all new reports that you create in the future, you can go to the File menu and select Options.  Go to the Fields tab.  Click on the Number button and follow the instructions above.  This will change the rounding for all new fields/reports but not for existing fields on reports.

Yes thank you for the information I had already tried this route to format the number and rounding.
However, I discovered to day that the fault is with the data...not Crystal. Many Thanks

Can you explain what was going on with the data in case someone here runs into a similar problem?
