crystal report 9:
after several suppresses and other things came up with:
  
                location1
name1          20 
name2          10
name3          05
.
.

                 location2
name1          30
name2          10
name3          40
.
.
.

these are things I am struggling with.
i like to start a new page with each new location. seconly if there is a continuation of a location like location2 to the next page then i like location2 title to appear in next page also.

You can do this by right clicking on the Group Header and selecting Section Expert. There are properties that let you print the group header on each page as well as set 'New Page Before' to force each group to be on its own page.
