hi all,

i have a small problem in CR XI. i've used shared variables in many reports and they have never been  a problem except this one.

i have a shared variable in the main report which is initialized to 0 in a group header.
in the detail section there is a subreport which sets the value for the shared variable and there is a formula in the group footer which displays the shared variable.
the problem is, the value is not showing up in the main report. if i display the variable inside the subreport, the value is there but it is not showing up in the main report. shows up as 0.

any suggestions?
