    Posted: 14 Mar 2007 at 10:26am

i'm new to crystal reports, only got crystal 12 yesterday and have found it very simple to create crosstab reports, but i can't seem to get my unanswered columns to display anything other than null in the heading ie

                        |                      | Single    |   Married    |
 -------------------------------------------------------------------
 <20                 |     10             |    5         |     32         |

i want it to read:

                        | Unanswered  | Single   |      Married  |
 --------------------------------------------------------------------
 <20                 |     10              |    5       |        32        |

i know that using SQL i could use isnull but i need a way using the tools

Many thanks in advance for your help.
sorry if its not very clear.

Regards
Ross

Hi,

You have the fonction IsNull (fld), where fld is the field that you want to test.  I hope that will hepl.  If not, give us more detail.

If you look in my free online chapter about crosstabs, I talk about manipulating the cross-tab object during runtime and examining its properties. Look in the last half of the chapter for more info.
