Hi all,

I have started a MySQL server local, but I can't open the db with the MySQLBrowser and the second problem I encounter is the ODBC connection I want to make with Crystal.  If I make a new connection, I don't know what to fill in.

This is a difficult one to answer b/c it sounds like you just need to get more info about how MySql is configured. If you can't open it wtih MySqlBrowser, then you aren't going to be able to open it with Crystal. You need to know what the database name is, user id and password. For server you can probably use 'localhost' or '(local)'.
