I have not worked in Crystal since 8 came out years ago. I am way behind the ball on a project I was assigned. I took the project because I thought it was an excel report then I was told I had to create the report in crystal then export it to Excel.

I am trying to make a cross tab report that can be used for both a weekly view and/or a Monthly rolling year comparision to last year. There are two levels of grouping. I want the user to be able to chose Monthly or Weekly. Input date ranges. Chose location (1 or many multi select) Column grouping is for monthly, current year/previous yearly month, and by a type (there are 4)

Weekly is just Sunday Thru Saturday (to keep with Crystal) based on date ranges provided  Weekly, they want only the values i current month in the weekly totals, so if a week spaned 2 months they only want the data contain fro the month they are looking at.

I have no books, and the company will not pay for a refresher course.

I am hoping that someone can point me to some answers.

1) Some good free tutorials (I went to several links I found in the forum but wasn't successful)

2) Maybe some examples or sample reports

3) I do not need .net help for crystal. The report has to be built in crystal XI and then it is ran by the user from within another application or scheduled via Business Objects.
