when i make a change to the datatype of a field.. like nchar from size 5 to 10 on the sqlserver

then i go back to cr..it does not reflict the change
also i notice when i change the data source  of the database it delects all the fields from the report...what could i be doing wrong?

Hi,
 
Open the report and the Select the Menu Database and Select Verify Database .
