Crystal Reports Failed to retrieve data from database. Code: 2812

Message

Hi,

I am getting the following error when I have no data returned from the database, and pass it to a crystal report....

for: Nov 20, 2008

Failed to retrieve data from the database. Details: [Database Vendor Code: 2812 ] Failed to retrieve data from the database. Error in File CR_CPS_QRPS {DEEA9F78-4A69-4AB1-A11D-D8713B759C86}.rpt: Failed to retrieve data from the database. Details: [Database Vendor Code: 2812 ] 

What is the cause of this?  Can it just return blank?
