hi,
 
if i want to view my report in the Crystal report server do i have to save my report under the Enterprise folder in my report .... ?
 
Because currently i did not save under Enterprise  folder i jus save in a folder in desktop ......
and i have sucessfully posted my report but when i want to view the report  the database could not be reached ....
 
i am usin cmc(central management concole)in business Object Entreprise
 
please help me...

A couple of things you need to do:
 
- Publish the report through the CMC.
- Make sure that the machine that Crystal Report Server (CRS) is on has access to the database used in the report.  This means that if the report has an ODBC connection, the exact same connection needs to be on the server; if it uses Oracle, the Oracle client needs to be on the server with a correctly configured TNSNames.ora file; if it uses SQL Server, the SQL Server client needs to be installed and the user ID that the CRS services use to run has access to the network folder where the database is located, etc.
 
I suspect that you have a database configuration problem.

hi
i have almost done that ....
i am connecting my report  throught ODBC connection but what i wzn to no is that mus i save in the folder  'Enterprise Folder '
