I am able to successfully connect to a MySQL server using Crystal Reports 9 and run reports. However, only one report can be run at a time. When the second report is run, I get the following error:

Failed to open rowset
Details: 08501:[MySQL][ODBC 3.51 Driver][mysqld-4.1.22] MySQL server has gone away.

I am using MyODBC 3.51  driver. I have tried the newer driver also but receive the same result.

The problem goes away temporarily if I close Crystal Reports completely and reopen it and run another report. But on the next report, the same error as above shows up again.

It looks like the DB connection may be timing out. Has anyone here dealt with this issue before? Thanks.
