How can we create a Cascading Parameter field Using Universe.

 

I have a universe and out of that i need to fetch fields into my Crystal report.

 

1. I tried to fetch fields directly from universe. I have created a Dynamic parameter there we need to mention all the values fields. I'm not able to see any values over here.

eg :  Values

        ID

        Address

        Phone Number

 

2. I tried out this option as well. I have written a query and pointed it to database and i have created the cascading Parameter. I have used select expert to assign Phone Number to the above created parameter. When i run my report it got stuck up for long time. I have waited for almost 30 min still no results. I tried to stop the process even that was not happening. So, at last i have used taskmanager to close the Crystal report.

 

Can anyone let me know how to solve this issue asap.
