My Crystal report has 2 sub-reports both of which link to the main report. The main report and sub-reports are connected to Oracle stored procedures. The stored procedure for the main report first retrieves and inserts data into a Oracle table; the stored procedures for the sub-reports then summarize the data and provide the results to the sub-reports through cursors. The Crystal report is called by a VB6 exe through CRAXDRT.DLL. The issue is why the main stored procedure is always called twice each time the VB exe is ran, i.e. double data is inserted into the report table during the same Oracle session. There is no problem when I directly run the Crystal report without VB exe. Could someone else explain the wired situation for me?
