So, I was wanting to save space and put two columns of data on the same row in Crystal Reports... only problem is the data comes back from the Query on separate rows. This seems to be a problem in and of itself.

The other problem is one column could have more rows of data than they other... so blank would just be in the shorter column where the longer column had more rows....

Anyhow, this report is still just in basic design phase and I'm trying to figure out if it can be done. Thanks!

If you create a group, then split the group's header (giving you group header A and group header B).

In group header A in the section expert - exclude all of group B items and vice versa.

Now, if you overlay group header B over group header A and providing that you have offset the columns accordingly then you should have the two columns side by side.
