Hi Sultans,

I see you have not yet had any replies, and unfortunately I do not have a resolution for you, either.

I am posting to say that I am receiving a similar error, using Crystal Reports 10.0.  I am getting "Unable to view FormName.  Error in formula code.  Please contact Crystal Decisions.."  (yes, 2 periods at the end of the last sentence).

I thought I had found the formula, which is "StoreStringVar (etc...)", but I still can't get this corrected.  One reason I thought this was the answer was the reference in the following article on Crystal Support: https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/oss_notes_boj/sdn_oss_boj_erq/sap(bD1lbiZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/spn/scn_bosap/notes%7B6163636573733d36393736354636443646363436353344333933393338323636393736354637333631373036453646373436353733354636453735364436323635373233443330333033303331333233313331333733313339%7D.do

You will have to login to SAP Support Portal to access that, I am afraid, but here is some relevant text:
1211719 - StoreCurrencyVar function returns 'Error in formula code' in Crystal Reports 8
This error also occurs when previewing a report created in CR 8 containing formulas with the StoreCurrencyVar function
Change the variable type to 'Number' by using the StoreNumberVar and FetchNumberVar functions instead of StoreCurrencyVar and FetchCurrencyVar in the store and fetch formulas

Anyway, if you post a reply I will let you know when, and if, I ever get this resolved.

Cheers,
rclowe

Does anyone have any updates to this problem? I'm struggling with this, too, and I'm at a complete loss at this point.

I am not sure exactly what the problem was, but we had recently installed some "Big Brother-Type" of monitoring software called Ultra 10, by Verint, and that appears to be what was causing the problem.  I uninstalled and the error messages went away.

I will try to find out what was causing it, as the software was reworked by the Verint Techs and I have reinstalled (yippee Confused) and I no longer get the error.
