OK, I have two tables I want to pull information from. The tables have very similar fields (the ones I want to pull from exist in both tables). Neither table actually relates to the other (no need for JOIN). I need to apply the same record selection formula to both tables. The current formula (to handle just one table) looks like :

{PLINCD.INORI#} = "FOOBAR" AND
(NumberVar input:= {PLINCD.INCALD};

Date ( Val ( ToText (input,0,"") [1 to 4]),
           Val (ToText (input,0,"") [5 to 6]),
           Val (ToText (input,0,"") [7 to 8])) = YearToDate OR
Date ( Val ( ToText (input,0,"") [1 to 4]),
           Val (ToText (input,0,"") [5 to 6]),
           Val (ToText (input,0,"") [7 to 8])) = LastYearYTD)

Any ideas as to how I would do this?
