	Hi would like to pass a value eg request_id to a sub report so i can select other information on the request id eg select notes with request_id eq (current details request id ) Thanks for help

	request_id (or something like it) should be a parameter of the subreport, then you can just link to it. If it is not a parameter, make a shared variable, set the variable to the value and then in the subreport create another formula that accesses the same shared variable. HTH
