You most likely have what is called a 'cartesian join'. This means that your are joining two tables together and the second table has multiple records for each primary key. Thus, the detail records show up multiple times. You can get rid of this by possibly cleaning up your database to get rid of bad records; using Groups to only show each record once, or doing a SELECT DISTINCT in the SQL to get rid of duplicate data.
