Hello,

I am trying to count (or possibly sum) the number of times that a specific user (PersonID) has participated in different events (EventID).

There are literally thousands of events, and even more users, but I want to get totals for each user.  For example:

User1   35 events
User2   31 events
User3   18 events

etc.

I'm trying to do this with a running total field, but I keep getting numbers that are very inaccurate (I think that they're summing the total number of users).

Thanks for any help that you can offer!

Group on User field
suppress details
insert Summary as COUNT on any field that is on every row with a SUmmary location of Group1 footer
Move that to the group header
