The SQL database I am using stores all invoices numbers in Base 36.  I would like to know how to easily convert them back to Base 10 for my reports.  There has to be an easier way than my current method of exporting the data to an Excel spreadsheet and doing the conversion.

I used to know a formula to convert any base to any base, but it has been thirty years since I used it.  The bottom line is to use a formula.  I do not know if Crystal formula editor has the tools to do the conversion.

I looked up how to do base conversions.  I do not know if Crystal has the tools to do what you need.  If the base 36 number is fixed on size or as least below a maximum size, then it might be possible.

It would take creating a formula and testing against the data.
