Quote gguthrie Replybullet Topic: how to do date range in formula window

I have 2 parameters that come in as {?Start Date} and {?End Date} and I run the report data off this date range.

Now I am looking to do a prior period, by creating a formula for each field using a new Start Date and End Date minus the original {?Start Date} and {?End Date}.

I really have no idea on how to use the date formats in the formula editor, and I reall don't know how to do a datediff in crystal, so any help would be appreciated!

EDIT:

if anyone knows some good exercises on how to use date functions in a formula field it would be very helpful, thanks!

EDIT 4/8:
Just to let people know I am still trying to figure this one out, thanks!

EDIT: 4/12
No need to answer to this one, as I figured it out. I just passed the parameters into my stored procedure and did the date diff there. Thanks for looking!
