Sorry if this is a simple one but I cant seem to find it.

I have an access DB I added to a crystal. This db is Mutual Fund performance numbers.

I attempted to run the report and I get an Invalid Index error. The cusip field in that access db is noted as an indexed field.

I need the link but not indexed. How do I clear that index???

I tried to delete the link then re link but after I deleted the link...the index is still there...

Anyone?

I think this is the only thing keeping my report from running.

The field is showing as indexed even though the DB is no longer linked to the other table.

All I need to do is clear that index, but I cant seem to find out how to do that.

Wish I had an answer, but have never seen an error like that.  It might be possible to created a new data source (different name) and see if that clears up the issue.  If it does, try switching back to the first data source.  I have gotten rid of some weird errors that way.

Have you tried Verifying the database?  That should take care of removing any indexes that don't actually exist.
