i have a report am working on.i need to to calculate the AGE of arreas by counting the months when the arreas started accumalting.My problem is that all the other fields are in the group footer and any formular i try doesnt work in the group footer for the arreas. let me just show you..

my problem is that i need to count the number of times the arreas appear but also keep in mind that the count has to start from where the arreas where last at zero and also the last record is always zero but i dont wnt to count it.
note that if i use the normal count it will count from the top giving me a value of 10 yet what i actually want is to count only from 43700(being the begining point where the arrears started acculating) to 32000(being the last record meaning there are arreas still due)
which gives me a value of 3 and exclude the last record . i need a formalar or way of how i can achieve that .i hope some guru out there can help me.if am not clear you can email me on
