Help required please.

I am trying to create a multi lined invoice through crystal reports 2008. In my details section I have 2 fields. Field 1 is the line description (this field is set with the can grow attribute; as the description can be many lines long). Field 2 is the line value which I would like to appear at the bottom of the detail section. Herein lies my problem as I have no control over the depth of the line description I cannot place field 2 within the section at a fixed point. I cannot see anyway of formatting the field to print at the bottom of the section. Any help would be thankfully received.

Hi Steve,

This a very common question and I cover it in my Encyclopedia book. All you have to do is create a second section (Details B) and put the second field there. The Can Grow option won't cross over to a new section and this trick keeps fields from overlapping.

You can find out more about my books at Amazon.com or reading the Crystal Reports eBooks online.

Creating a second section is okay but what I really want is for the value field to fall in line with the last line of the description field
