I'm trying to set up my parameter so it reads values from one of the tables in my DB.

I thought the way to do this was to set up a Parameter and set the List of Values to Dynamic...but dynamic is greyed out and unselectable...

Any idea why?  Because I am using 11 Standard?

Thanks,

Patrick

True. Dynamic Cascading Prompts are only available in the Professional edition and above.

Thansk,

For the million dollar follow-up question, if I boy Pro and create a report with a Dynamic Prompt, then send it to someone else in my firm who has Standard, will the Dynamic Prompt work?\

Excellent question. I "think" the answer is yes, they will work. The difference with Pro is that it gives you the ability to create them. For VS.NET 2005, you can't create DCPs either, but if you display an XI report with a .NET app then the DCP will be available. That said, they do have a free 30 day trial you can download first to test this out.
