Hi all,
I am new to this forum and crystal Report as well !!!
I have designed a report using XI th version. While exporting to excel with data only option the problem araises.
In the excel, then ad there few cells are left blank between 2 cells.
 
Example:
1st  Cell with name extends to 3rd cell. While expandig the 1st cell, rest of 2 cells are left blank. I need to cut short those blank cells.
 
I am not using any ASP or java coding while designing.
 
Can any of you solve the problem.

In Report export option for excel check this option "Column width based on this object" select a section (page header, details, or group header section),  based on the fields width in this section, the number of columns and their width will be  created in Excel. Make the field width in all the sections same (Page header, details, page footer, report footer)
