Is there any way of standardizing the size of the default Crystal
Reports "Enter Parameter Values" Dialogue box as I seem to get different sizes every time I use this?

Many thanks and kind regards.

I have never tried it, but  I believe you can use CSS to control some of the look. Whether this goes to control over size I dont know. I suppose it depends on which version of Crystal you are using, but I believe this is possible from CR XI and CR 2008.

You may want to search the forums for CSS I have some recollection of Brian discussing it some months ago.

Hope this helps,

John W.

Dear John

On searching for help in Visual Studio 2008 professional edition, it tells me that CSS formatting is for reports rendered into html only!

Regards,

Chris

Just to follow up, I was looking at something else in Brian's CR book. I ran across a part where he is talking about using CSS to deal with the parameter value box. If I understand  what I read correctly, the parameter dialog box is rendered in HTML (not just when its a web app). Again, if I have understood what he wrote correctly, then you should be able to use CSS against that HTML code to deal with formatting.

Thought I would pass this along, since it might be worth another look. Once again I must say I have never tried doing this.

Regards,
