Hi,

I am very new to crystal reports, and quite experienced with .net 2005.

I have a dataset with 3 tables havng 1:1 relation. I want to create a report for the data in this dataset. All fields which does not require any grouping works fine. but when i add groupng section to my report and run  the code, everything in the report disappears, and all i get is a blank report in the viewer.

Do anyone have a clue what is happening with my report. I tried googling lots, but no answer.

I have never seen this before. How about starting from scratch and just using a dataset with one table and making sure you can get grouping working with that, then try it with two tables? This will help determine if its something to do with the tables or whether CR is having trouble with groups altogether.

I have had this problem too, but it didn't relate to grouping. Basically any time I have wanted to use multiple tables in a report I have found it impossible. As you say the report goes blank. Yet when I use the tables in sub-reports the data is fine.

Interesting comments. I'm going to have to dig into this one in more depth and talk to tech support if there is a serious problem here.

is it possible to format a crosstab crystal report at runtime ? please provide an example
I want to set the decimal places and rounding at runtime.

I have not been able to access the fieldobjects of the crosstab
object.  They are not in ReportObjects collection of the reportdocument
I can access the Crosstab object but not the fieldobjects it contains.

I am using .net (c#)

thanks in advance
