Is CR 2008 SP1 needed for VS 2008 development?  If so, how do you install SP1 on Vista?

yes, you need sp0 or sp1 for vs 2008. Re installing it on Vista, I wasn't aware that it was different than XP (just run the install app that comes with it).

Cool.  I have SP0 right now.  That update came automatically when I opened CR.  But, I went on the SAP website, and found SP1.  When I try to install it, I get errors.  The install isn't packaged the same way as SP0.  After a while it says it can't find the CrystalReports.msi file.  I tried pointing it to the one on the CR2008 disk, and that doesn't work.  So, I can't get SP1 to install.  Haven't started trying to develop with VS2008 yet.  Just trying to figure out what I need, because I know I read that for a while CR2008 wouldn't work with it.
