Hi, does anyone know how to supress a section of a sub report in that section returns no values? I can see how to supres the sub report but not the whole section. Thanks

Hi
Open the subreport and go to the section which you want to suppress right click select section expert then in common tab Suppress no drill down click X+2 then enter the code to check any of the field values
Sorry if I wasnt clear. I want to supress the whole section in the main report (this consists of a heading in main report and detail contained in sub report) (all contained in the one seciton of the main report though) if the sub report detail is empty. I hope this is clearer as I dont think supressing from the actual sub report is going to suppress my heading and all etc..

Hi
Go to the main section in the report which you want to suppress right click that section ,select section expert then in common tab Check Suppress Blank Section
I am so sorry but yes this suppresses the section however it does not suppress the heading, therefore the section shows a big blank area with the heading. Is there any way I can get the whole section to dissapear?
