Hi Guys,

I'm really new to this but I have created a crystal report and put it into my .NET application.  The problem i'm having is that the next button icon - only appears to goto the next page if I keep the mouse over the icon - as soon as I move the mouse, the page seems to stop loading (or at least the loading on the progress bar in explorer goes to the max). In fact this happens on all of the icons, works fine but move mouse and the occurance stops working.

Any ideas what's causing this?

Also I assumed that the full report would load when I ran it in report viewer, I didn't think you would have to wait for it to run agai for each page?

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers!

Is this a Web application or WinForms?  Which version of Visual Studio?

In terms of viewing pages, I believe that the Crystal Viewer renders a page for viewing the first time that you go to the page.  This is so that the first page appears in the viewer much faster than if the entire report is rendered before viewing.  This may not make much difference in small reports of a couple pages, but it makes a MAJOR difference when you have a couple hundred pages in the report.

Sorted!

To answer your question it was a web application.  It appears that my problem was the same as the next page not going past page 3 problem also posted.  Moved the report setup into the page init function and it sorted the problem (see other post for details).
